No matter who you are, if you are employed, you probably have your own business card, especially if you are in the sales or service industry. If you work for someone else, that company probably had your business cards printed to the same specifications as all of the other workers that it employs. But if you own your own company or are the boss, you might find yourself with the tedious task of shopping for business cards. If that is the case, you may want to read on to learn about some of the many options available when deciding what to include in your business card design. Business card prices can vary widely and are always contingent on which options are included. The first thing you have to decide on is what kind of card stock you want. Generally, the thicker the paper, the more you will pay. Or maybe you want something fancier that plain paper. Cards can be printed on many types of media including silk, Mylar, plastics, metal, wood and many other synthetics. Once again, the more exotic the media, the more the cards will cost. Then you must decide whether or not you want full color printing. This is usually desired only if you want graphics displayed on the cards. Other pricing factors include UV or high gloss coating, raised printing, water marks or highly specialized inks. As a general rule, black and white text on a medium thick card stock is the cheapest. Each option you add will increase your costs. Business Card Printing | Design | Templates |
