When designing the perfect business card, it can be hard to figure out where to place certain things on the card, and what the whole layout should be. The main point to consider is whether the layout looks practical and professional. Here are the three most important aspects of a good business card layout.
Business Name
Your company's name should be the first thing the customers see when they're looking at your business card. Front and center is where the name belongs, because people tend to notice that area first. If your company's name is on the back of the card or on the bottom of the card, people will not see it right away, or at all.
Information
Only important information should be placed on the business card. You don't want to have unnecessary and unhelpful information on your card. An office number, fax number, address and email are the top four pieces of information you should focus on. Don't forget your website. Although short and simple is best, and most professional, you can customize your card according to your business. If you feel that your customers would appreciate a wise quote, or a list of your services, go ahead and put them on there.
Logo
The logo is also an important piece of your business card. A logo makes your business seem more professional and is a creative way for helping people remember what your business is all about. However, if your company does not have a logo, just come up with one!
